This half-day course introduces the principles involved in identifying, assessing and putting in place controls to minimise risks encountered within the workplace.

The course is aimed at personnel who may be required to use or complete a Risk Assessment as part of their job function.

Course Objectives

The course covers the Safety legislation relevant to Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, how to conduct a Risk Assessment. At the end of the course candidates will complete a written test, to confirm their level of understanding.

Certificates awarded after successful completion of the course will be valid for a three year period after which recertification must take place.
