AquaTerra Solutions Ltd, a specialist service provider to the Oil and Gas industry, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a plan to adopt a holding company structure to more effectively facilitate its ongoing growth plan.

Reflecting the change in structure, the Company will change its name to AquaTerra Group Limited.

Established in 2004, AquaTerra have expanded into a successful organisation with bases in the UK and West Africa and an annually turnover of £12 million.  They currently have 26 staff in their UK office supporting more than 100 offshore field personnel.

Peter Robinson, Managing Director of AquaTerra, said: ‘Our strategy is to achieve sustained long-term growth by solidifying our leadership position in Specialist Rope Access Projects, Practical Health and Safety Training, and the provision of specialist Work and Rescue Equipment.  As a result, we recently launched a more comprehensive marketing and sales approach in order to expand our service capabilities in these three business division creating brand equity under a holding company structure.’

‘AquaTerra Groupwill incorporate three core divisions, AquaTerra Specialist Access Division, AquaTerra Training Division and AquaTerra Work and Rescue Equipment Division. The company’s Africa operations will be known as AquaTerra (West Africa). This creates a more flexible corporate structure in which to add new lines of business, as we seek to further leverage our core competencies.’

Whilst the Company is changing name, there will be little or no effect to the majority of their clients or suppliers. Where changes may occur, they envisage these to be minor administrative changes which will not affect the way in which AquaTerra’s business operates.
