AquaTerra is delighted to announce that on Tuesday 16th February 2016, the company was awarded approval as a direct supplier to BP Exploration Ltd and subsequently included on BP’s Approved Vendor List.
Approval has been awarded following the successful completion of a number of rigging and construction, inspection and TAR-related projects over the past few years, and in the knowledge that further projects are already planned over the next two years across several BP assets.
“The award of approval to AquaTerra will provide significant cost savings and efficiencies to BP; it will no longer be a requirement for AquaTerra to sub-contract through a third party, thereby reducing overhead and administration costs.” Said, Peter Robinson, Managing Director, AquaTerra Group Ltd.
“It will also facilitate direct communication between AquaTerra and BP representatives, reducing supply chain and enhancing direct dialogue which we believe will bring further efficiencies, greater value and improved understanding of requirements and project drivers.”
From AquaTerra’s perspective, approval represents a significant step forward. A progressive SME, focussed on continuous improvement, AquaTerra is committed to developing ways to improve its service generally, through improved business processes and practices, competitive tendering for third party goods and services, and the introduction of innovative products and technologies to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
