AquaTerra Group is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s Quality Management System during a period of exciting change and business growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibility for the development and implementation of the Company’s quality management activities, including but not limited to:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining a quality management system suitable to the needs of the business and customers in accordance with the requirements of IS0/IEC 17020:2012 and BSEN ISO 9001:2015
  • Devising and establishing the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications in conjunction with operating staff
  • Making suggestions for changes and improvements to the company’s quality system and create a strategy for implementation
  • Ensuring effective communication and transfer of quality related information and objectives throughout the organisation and customer base
  • Providing training and encouragement to all personnel to adopt a pro-active role in furthering and developing the Company’s objectives
  • Adopting and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement in process and organisational performance and capabilities
  • Ensure regular and continuous monitoring of Quality objectives as part of an annual improvement strategy
  • Assisting the HSE Manager with maintaining Environmental and Health & Safety management systems
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
  • Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
  • Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems

Preferred Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

  • HNC Business Management (preferable)
  • Proven track record of working with ISO 9001 (preferably :2015) systems
  • Understanding of in HSE Management systems - qualification is preferable
  • PC literate (Microsoft applications)
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • An understanding and appreciation of AquaTerra
