AquaTerra Group is looking for a QHSE Administrator to assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s QHSE Management System during a period of exciting change and business growth.

Reporting to the QHSE Manager, the ideal candidate would ideally be at an Engineering Graduate level as full support and training will be provided. This position will be responsible for the administration of the Company’s QHSE management activities, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Company’s QHSE management system in accordance with the needs of the business and customers to the requirements of IS0/IEC 17020:2012, BSEN ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001:2015
  • Updating and maintaining the company's QHSE procedures, standards and specifications in conjunction with management and operations staff
  • Making suggestions for changes and improvements to the company’s QHSE system
  • Ensuring effective communication and transfer of QHSE related information and objectives throughout the organisation and customer base
  • Adopting and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement in process and organisational performance and capabilities
  • Ensuring regular and continuous monitoring of QHSE objectives as part of an annual improvement strategy
  • Assisting the QHSE Manager with maintaining Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
  • Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
  • Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems
  • Providing an input to assist the engineering and operations departments.
  • Considering and addressing the specific risks and opportunities in carrying out duties and implementing processes
  • Enhancing and supporting customer satisfaction by meeting, or exceeding, customer requirements
  • Understanding, considering and implementing business processes and how they relate to your duties
  • Participating in effective communication 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven track record or knowledge of working with ISO 9001 (preferably 2015) systems
  • PC literate (Microsoft applications)
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • An understanding and appreciation of AquaTerra
  • This position would suit a Graduate Engineer looking to work in a QHSE environment
